POSTPONED Field Trip: Designer Studio Open House with Carmen Woodson
Keep the holiday blues at bay by tapping into your creative juices in one of SODO's most creative studio hubs
Join us on Saturday, Dec 14th, from 5-7pm for an Open Studios tour of a one-of-a-kind maker space located in the heart of SODO. Not only will you get an inside-access tour of Graypants Studio, but you'll enjoy access into the wildly colorful studio of interdisciplinary artist and designer, Carmen Woodson.
SEATTLE CREATES, in partnership with the artist, is excited to extend this unique opportunity to welcome a select few into this creative studio ecosystem. What to expect? Hear it first from Carmen herself:
Immediately following our monthly Factory Market, join me for a hands-on workshop where we will explore color, shape, and design--materials provided. All you gotta do is bring an open mind and willingness to participate.
Carmen Woodson is a multidisciplinary artist with a BFA in Interior Architecture. Carmen works from her studio in SODO, above Graypants, Inc., where she explores painting, textiles, sculpture, and lighting as her primary mediums. In addition to her art practice, Carmen also organizes and hosts a monthly art market in Graypants’ workspace, fostering creativity and connection within the local arts community.

Field Trip: Artist Studio Open House with Hernan Paganini
We’re excited to welcome Hernan Paganini, a Seattle-based artist originally from Argentina, whose work bridges art, education, and public spaces.
A message from the Hernan:
I invite you to discover the heart of my artistic work.
Come visit my studio and immerse yourself in the space where my creations come to life. Here, you'll be able to see the alchemy of my creative process from the very beginning, initial sketches and drawings, to collages, and all the way to the installations, sculptures that eventually take shape in the space.
It's a unique opportunity to explore the b-side ' kitchen ' , the place where everything transforms. I’ll be happy to share this process with you, answer your questions, and let you witness how ideas evolve into reality.
