Workshops, field trips, drop-in clinics. The one thing in common with all of these is that they’re missing YOU!

Seattle Tech Week
Seattle Tech Week runs from July 28 to August 1, and it’s bigger than ever. Seattle Tech Week turns the entire city into a giant, open-source conference. It’s not about one stage or venue — it’s nearly 100 events hosted by the people actually building the future: founders, operators, VCs, and community leaders. You’ll find real conversations, magnetic ideas, and connections that go far deeper than your typical conference business card swap.

Creative Evenings
On August 6th, we’re flipping the script and hosting CreativeMornings… after dark.
Join us at COLOR for “Creative Evenings”, a buzzing night of inspiration, music, and community.
An extension of June’s global "punk" theme, COLOR is the perfect agency to host 3 prominent voices from Seattle’s creative scene, each with deep-rooted connections to punk rock.
Meet the Creatives
From international tours with the revered Murder City Devils to global brand campaigns for Pepsi, KEEN, and Microsoft, Nate’s 25-year journey fuses music, design, and storytelling. While earning a Fine Arts degree at Evergreen, he began by branding his own band—and never looked back. His signature creative grit led to the founding of 51 Eggs.
Celebrated photographer, skater, and bassist of The Briefs, Lance’s work is as raw and real as the Seattle scene he came up in. “I didn’t have to be Ansel Adams,” he says. “The same ethos the Ramones had musically, I could apply photographically.” Through his lens, Lance famously captured the inception of Seattle’s grunge generation.
From New York’s hardcore punk scene to the forefront of tech, design, and innovation, Laura has helped Fortune 100 companies, agencies, and nonprofits unlock insights and drive real change. Her work is a masterclass in clarity, transformation, and building teams that make magic. Laura’s success founding tmrw + tmrw stems not just from her strategic mind and generous heart—but also from her roots as a bi-coastal punk rocker.
Not your average talk series—it’s a celebration of creative leadership, resilience, mentorship, and how the ethos of punk-rock have heavily influenced their individual careers. We’re proud to welcome these three incredible voices to the stage.

Black and Loud Fest
Black and Loud Fest aims to celebrate these bands with folks from all walks of life by sharing experiences and insights about these issues, giving the talented and underrepresented community of alternative Black artists their flowers, and throwing one of the most kick-ass music festivals in the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to honor the broad spectrum of Black creativity, showcasing how integral these contributions have been to defining American music and culture at large. And guess what?
No matter who you are, you're invited. Let's tear it up together.

Bumbershoot
A celebration of the Pacific Northwest’s unique culture
Bumbershoot is a full-spectrum arts and music experience—from punk to performance art, ballet to wrestling, pole dancing to roller skating, food to fashion, and all manner of ingenuity in between. Celebrating creators and innovators of all kinds, Bumbershoot breaks stereotypes, champions a more inclusive art community and bets on the dreamers, makers and performers who call the Pacific Northwest home. It is Seattle’s moss-covered Mardi Gras, daring everyone to join in the spectacle.
First produced at Seattle Center in 1971, Bumbershoot is Washington’s legacy arts and music festival, made for community by community.
We believe everyone in the region—from individuals to corporations—has a role to play in supporting the power and vitality of the arts. That’s why we amplify the Pacific Northwest creative community, cultivating professional opportunities for artists, welcoming diverse crowds by the hundreds of thousands, and training the next generation of event producers. We strive to be as accessible as possible—whether in our programming, our physical footprint, or our subsidized ticket prices.
Today Bumbershoot is produced by New Rising Sun, a seasoned team of concert promoters and visual arts producers dedicated to supercharging the iconic Bumbershoot brand. New Rising Sun manages and operates Bumbershoot on behalf of Third Stone, a nonprofit that houses the annual Bumbershoot Festival and its workforce development program for young people from historically marginalized and underserved communities. Third Stone’s mission is to foster an inclusive and sustainable Pacific Northwest arts economy through youth education and community-driven programming.
