Seattle Creates is partnering with New Tech Northwest to bring ongoing Arts x Tech activations to NTNW’s monthly networking meetups. Join us each month during the opening networking hour for interactive STEAM experiences that connect creativity, technology, and innovation.

If you’re into art, design, dev, startups—or just curious—you’ll be in good company. It’s an easy space to meet people, learn something new, and tap into the creative energy shaping Seattle right now.

You’ll find us during the opening networking hour, hosting interactive S.T.E.A.M. moments that make the connection between art + tech feel real. Think digital art, AR/VR, fashion, projection, sound. Different entry points into the same creative process.

This month, we'll be featuring The Plotter by Jonny McConnell. Come create your own algorithmic glyph print by twisting knobs on a robotic plotter.

Jonny McConnell is a creative with one foot in design, one in photography, one in building internet, and one in the classroom. He balances his time between freelance clients, maintaining the Seattle Creative Directory, and developing his machine-aided printmaking at The Plot Quickens from his studio on Whidbey Island.
